A curated list of 20+ active communities where you can share content, and grow the audience for your startup.

There's a good chance you're looking at this page because you found us via content we posted in a forum, social media, or Slack group. We spend a lot of time hanging out in communities, first and foremost to learn. But we also like to share our best practices, and it's a great place to grow your audience.

Sneak peek at the Notion doc

To make sure we aren't oversharing/reposting in a forum, we created a table in Notion to keep tabs on where we've shared certain content. We realized that it is probably useful for others whose target audience is similar to ours: founders, makers, startup employees, and freelancers. We wanted to share it so you don't have to reinvent the wheel.

One quick warning - it can be difficult to strike the right balance between being a good community member and growing your audience. We suggest reading our recent resource on this. The people who create these communities spend a lot curating and growing them. It's hard work. Avoid treating these as channels to be spammed. Unless it's LinkedIn.

If you have additional channels that we're missing, let us know and we'll add them.

How to use this

What I've done is connect this table of channels to my content calendar. Whenever I post an item to one of these channels, I add it as a connected field, that way I know where I've already posted something.

Feel free to copy it out of our Notion and add it to yours, or download it into whatever tool you like.

We try to update this regularly, so check back in!
